\nThis is a fast-paced, high-volume ambulatory role with no labor and delivery responsibilities, perfect for a confident Women's Health APP who loves connecting with patients and providing comprehensive, relationship-based care.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

- OB-focused role based in the OB suite \n
- Outpatient clinical position supporting the OB/GYN physician team \n
- Standard schedule: 36 patient-facing hours + 4 administrative hours weekly \n
- Strong physician, nursing, and APP support \n
- EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation + Ambient AI \n
CLINICAL SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
\nThe APP will primarily manage obstetric visits and OB-related patient care, including:
\nObstetric Care:
\n- \n
- New OB intakes and initial prenatal visits \n
- Routine prenatal follow-up visits \n
- Prenatal counseling and patient education \n
- Postpartum visits and follow-up care \n
- OB triage visits as appropriate \n
- Collaboration with OB/GYN physicians for high-risk or complex cases \n
- Coordination of care with labor & delivery, nursing, and support staff \n
Gynecologic Care (as applicable):
\n- \n
- Annual well-woman exams \n
- Pap smears and preventive screenings \n
- Contraceptive counseling and management \n
- Diagnosis and management of common gynecologic conditions \n
- In-office procedures based on training and competency \n
TEAM & PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT:
\n- \n
- Integrated into a well-established OB/GYN program \n
- Supported by experienced OBGYN physicians, CNMs, nursing staff, and APPs \n
- On-site Level II nursery \n
- L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C-section ORs located on the same floor \n
- Strong clinical protocols and collaborative workflows modeled after physician practice standards \n
REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES:

- Board-certified Womens Health NP or PA \n
- Prior OB experience required \n
- Experience managing prenatal and postpartum patient visits \n
- Eligible for or licensed in South Carolina \n
- Ability to work confidently and collaboratively in a high-volume OB environment \n
