Hospitalist, Penn Medicine Chester County Hospitalist Neurohospitalist
Job Description
Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital is seeking a FT Neurohospitalist. The Neurohospitalists will cover general neurology consultations for evaluation and management on a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to TIA, seizure, headache, myasthenia gravis, and multiple sclerosis. An acute tele-stroke team from The University of Pennsylvania is available 24/7 to provide emergent evaluations for Acute Stroke Alerts.
\nThe neurohospitalist will be available for bedside initial consults and follow-up. Primary admitting responsibilities will be managed exclusively by internal medicine and intensivist. The ideal candidate will have completed a stroke fellowship but not required. Flexible schedule options available.
\nSelected candidates will be joining a network of primary and specialty care practitioners, including board certified internists and family medicine physicians who specialize in preventive, routine, and acute care for adults and children.
\nMinimum Requirements: Candidates must be board certified/eligible in neurology with PA, DEA and CDS licensure. Candidates that are also board certified/eligible in a related sub-specialty are welcome to apply. Neurohospitalist or Stroke Fellowship but not required.
