\n Key Responsibilities:\n

  • Provide surgical care to trauma and critically ill patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • \n
  • Participate in trauma call coverage and manage acute surgical emergencies.
  • \n
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, trauma registry reviews, and protocol development.
  • \n
  • Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • \n
  • Participate in clinical research and academic activities, as appropriate.
  • \n

\n Training and/or Experience Required\n
\n
\n
\n

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • \n
  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
  • \n
  • Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care and/or Trauma preferred.
  • \n
  • Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.
  • \n
  • Strong commitment to patient care, education, and academic excellence.
