\nPosition Highlights

- Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m. \n
- No call, no weekends \n
- Patient Volume: 510 patients per day (subject to change) \n
Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care \n
- Diagnose and manage GI conditions, with a focus on hepatitis care \n
- Develop and implement diagnostic and therapeutic care plans \n
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and provide patient/family education \n
- Participate in clinical, educational, and research activities, as appropriate \n
Procedural Experience
\n- \n
- EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy \n
- Polypectomy, PEG placement, small bowel and liver biopsy \n
- Esophageal dilation, motility studies, band ligation, sclerotherapy \n
- Stent placement, laser therapies, and treatment of GI bleeding \n

Qualifications
\n- \n
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology \n
- Completion of accredited GI Fellowship \n
- Active or eligible Texas medical license \n
- DEA certification \n
