Our organization is dedicated to streamlining the locum tenens process. Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday; preferred shifts include three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour days
  • Rotating on-call schedule: one weekend per month and weeknight call at a ratio of 1:4
  • Exclusively working with a pediatric patient demographic
  • Hospital environment involving operating room duties and patient rounds
  • First assist team consists of one fellow, one technician, and three physician assistants
Key Responsibilities
  • Experience required: pediatric cardiac surgical first assist
  • Procedures performed include heart transplants, ventricular assist devices (VAD), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) ligation, among others
  • Approximately two pulmonary artery reconstruction cases each month, with procedures lasting over 24 hours

Compensation

Hourly rates range from $105.00 to $138.00. These figures are estimates and may vary based on several factors, including the urgency of the position, your experience and qualifications, and other considerations. The rates are all-inclusive, combining base pay with potential earnings from overtime, on-call duties, and holiday work. For specific details, please consult your recruiter.
