Child Psychiatrist - Per Diem
Job Description
- Performing inpatient rounds and addressing acute psychiatric conditions, with or without the involvement of residents and/or nurse practitioners.
- Responding to calls and assisting psychiatric residents in managing cases.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Offering supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
Responsibilities may be carried out independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and in a training environment, may include working alongside residents and/or students when available.
Compensation & Benefits:
The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, adjusted according to years of experience and/or faculty rank. This figure does not encompass variable compensation or additional productivity and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
