Our organization is seeking a General Physiatrist to become part of a vibrant and expanding practice. Currently, our department consists of eight dedicated physiatrists who prioritize exceptional patient care and are committed to delivering PM&R services to the community.
Located in Upstate NY, our facility is a CARF-accredited, 115-bed nonprofit acute rehabilitation hospital specializing in various areas, including brain injury, stroke, amputee, spinal cord, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic rehabilitation. We provide extensive inpatient and outpatient services to the region and have been recognized as a U.S. News Best Rehabilitation Hospital for the past two years, boasting a legacy of excellence in patient care that spans over 90 years. Our hospital serves as the training site for the local PM&R residency and features cutting-edge technology such as ReWalk, Ekso, RT300, Xcite, and BURT.

REQUIREMENTSCandidates should meet the following criteria:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- New York State license and DEA registration are required.
- This position does not accept J1 or H1B visa candidates.
Our organization provides a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:
- Base compensation ranging from $265,000 to $290,000, with the potential to earn an additional $50,000 in quality incentives.
- The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, or other forms of cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
