Your Impact as an Urgent Care Credentialed Veterinary Technician
\nNote: The Credentailed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state's Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.

- Be a Lifeline for Patients in Crisis: You'll be on the front lines, utilizing your full skillset in triage, stabilization, patient monitoring, and critical care under veterinarian supervision. \n
- Provide Clarity in Critical Moments: You'll be a vital and calming link for pet owners, clearly explaining treatments, reviewing discharge instructions, and providing reassurance during stressful times. \n
- Lead and Elevate Your Team: In a fast-paced setting, you'll guide and support your colleagues, ensuring a smooth workflow and fostering a focused, collaborative atmosphere. \n
- Ensure Seamless Care: Your clear and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment will be crucial for patient handoffs, case management, and effective team communication. \n
What You'll Bring to the Team

- A calm, efficient, and decisive approach, especially during medical emergencies. \n
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing. \n
- Proficiency in a range of technical skills, with a strong aptitude for emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing. \n
- Confidence in handling animals of all temperaments and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively under pressure. \n
- Prior veterinary experience is required; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus! A sign on bonus of up to $2,000 is available for qualified applicants \n
