Our organization, recognized with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the largest healthcare provider in southeastern New Jersey, is thrilled to announce an opening for a Board-Certified Family Medicine D.O. or M.D. to become part of the core faculty in our Family Medicine Residency program located in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Join a dedicated faculty team that has recently celebrated the graduation of its third class of Family Medicine residents in our 4-4-4 residency structure. This position offers the chance to design and implement a curriculum that enriches both clinical education and scholarly development for residents in a hospital setting and an FQHC outpatient clinic. This distinctive learning environment enables you to mentor residents as they manage a designated panel of patients in a continuity clinic.
The new Family Medicine faculty member will balance their time between teaching and delivering direct patient care at the FQHC clinic, while also supervising residents on the inpatient Family Medicine Teaching Service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational curricula for residents.
- Provide direct patient care in an FQHC outpatient clinic.
- Supervise residents during their inpatient rotations.
- Mentor residents in managing patient panels.
- Board-Certified Family Medicine physician.
- Strong commitment to teaching and serving underserved populations.
- Experience in graduate medical education is preferred.
This role involves a combination of teaching responsibilities and direct patient care, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both faculty and residents.
