We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Physician to become part of our Primary Care Union Lake Office, situated in the southeastern region of Michigan. This role presents an exciting chance to significantly influence the health of our community while thriving in a supportive, mission-oriented setting.

Opportunity Overview
  • Position Type: Full Time - 1.0 FTE
  • Schedule: 36 hours during office hours, Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with plans to extend hours to 7 PM on two weeknights), Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (once a month).
  • Location: Primary Care - Union Lake
  • Specialty: Primary Care
  • Team Size: 4 providers
  • Teaching Opportunities: Involvement with MSU community medical students and AIM residents
  • Call Requirements: Participation in a larger FM call pool, with one weeknight per month from 5 PM to 8 AM the following morning; one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each quarter from 8 AM to 8 AM.

Requirements
  • Physicians must be board certified or board eligible.
  • Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • DEA license required.
  • ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained).
Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivering direct patient care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities.
  • Documenting patient information in Epic EMR.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting community health initiatives.
