Requirements:

\n

\n
• Active RN Texas License or active multi-state compact RN license without stipulations or disciplinary actions
\n
• BSN
\n
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an acute care setting
\n
• At least 1-1.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
\n

\n

Principal Accountabilities:

\n

\n
• Deliver safe and appropriate care to patients based on nursing skills and patient needs
\n
• Coordinate nursing care planning with interdisciplinary team, make clinical decisions, and collaborate with healthcare team
\n
• Coordinate treatment plans, develop/implement discharge and transfer plans
\n
• Participate in program evaluation, process improvement, and client-centered outcomes
\n
• Adhere to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards
\n
• Promote professional growth and development through continuing education and skills competency
\n
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice and clinical competency
\n
