\n\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n- \n
- Apply the nursing process to provide high-quality care to patients in crisis and emergency situations. \n
- Adapt quickly to rapidly changing patient and unit needs through critical thinking and problem-solving. \n
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care. \n
- Educate patients and families while ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). \n

\n Required Qualifications\n
\n- \n
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon. \n
- Life Support: American Heart Association BLS (Healthcare Provider). \n
- Experience: Recent experience in Emergency Nursing and recent acute care hospital experience (within the last 5 years). \n
\n Preferred Qualifications\n
\n- \n
- ACLS and PALS (or ENPC) certifications (required within 6 months to 1 year of hire). \n
- TNCC certification (required within 1 year of hire). \n
- National certification in emergency nursing (CEN or equivalent). \n
- Workplace violence training (SAFE or equivalent). \n
