We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to take on the role of Medical Director for our CARF-accredited 39-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This position offers a remarkable chance for leadership within a collaborative and high-quality rehabilitation program.
Position Highlights- Full-time Medical Director
- Guaranteed salary for 2 years: $307,613
- Additional compensation for director and supervision: $150,000
- Recruitment incentive: Up to $15,000
- Relocation assistance: Available
- Paid Time Off: 4 weeks + 6 holidays + 1 week for Continuing Medical Education (CME)
- CME allowance: $6,000
- Comprehensive benefits package: Includes malpractice coverage with tail coverage
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
- Oversee a 39-bed CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Conduct daily rounds with therapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nursing staff
- Ensure clinical quality and monitor patient outcomes
- Collaborate closely with the hospitalist team
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligibility for an Iowa medical license
- State and federal prescriptive authority
