Quick Facts Location: 420 North Center Street, Hickory, NC 28601 Start Date: 06/12/2026 Duration: Ongoing PRN assignment Shift: Flexible/All shifts based on needs, including holiday coverage Hours/Week: Variable (PRN) Employment Type: PRN/Per diem Licenses/Certifications: Valid NC medical license; NCCPA certification or equivalent required Experience: Prior experience in neurosurgical or specialty practice preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: verify with actual client; placeholder rate) Pay Schedule: Weekly pay via direct deposit Benefits: Competitive pay package Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to state and federal laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 support team dedicated to your success What You’ll Do Provide APP coverage on first call and assist with neurosurgical cases and procedures Support the neurosurgical team with acute patient management Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care Participate in holiday and scheduled call coverage as needed Assist with documentation and patient assessments in accordance with protocols Maintain compliance with all licensing and institutional requirements What You Need Required: Valid North Carolina medical license Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Prior neurosurgery or neurological care experience preferred Preferred: Experience in emergency or trauma neurosurgical settings Strong communication and team collaboration skills About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in Hickory, North Carolina.
