Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing property management team. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong plumbing skills and experience maintaining multi-family residential communities. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

\n
• Receive, prioritize, and complete service requests in a timely manner
\n
• Diagnose and perform repairs on HVAC systems as needed (major repairs handled by HVAC technicians)
\n
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, toilets, sinks, and fixtures
\n
• Repair and replace household appliances including refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers
\n
• Perform minor electrical repairs including light fixtures, switches, and outlets
\n
• Repair locks, doors, windows, shelving, and other carpentry-related items
\n
• Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents
\n
• Assist with pool maintenance and general property upkeep
\n
• Maintain curb appeal and assist with landscaping duties
\n
• Communicate professionally with residents, leasing staff, and property management
\n
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
\n

Maintenance Technician Qualifications

\n
• 1-3 years of apartment maintenance or multi-family residential maintenance experience
\n
• Strong plumbing experience required
\n
• Knowledge of appliance repair, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and general carpentry
\n
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
\n
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical duties including bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and kneeling
\n
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
\n
