Position Overview:

We are seeking Safety Technicians to support a large construction project in Columbus, OH. This is a straightforward field-based safety role focused on monitoring jobsite activities, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring compliance with established safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Conduct routine walks throughout the jobsite
\n
• Monitor personnel and subcontractors for compliance with safety requirements
\n
• Identify and document safety violations or unsafe conditions
\n
• Communicate safety concerns to project supervision
\n
• Assist in maintaining a safe and productive work environment
\n
• Support site safety initiatives and daily safety activities
\n

Requirements:

• OSHA 30 Certification required
\n
• Must possess at least one board-recognized safety certification, such as:
\n

  \n
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
  \n
  • ASP (Associate Safety Professional)
  \n
  • CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician)
  \n
  • SMS (Safety Management Specialist)
  \n
  • SMP (Safety Management Practitioner)
  \n
  • Or equivalent safety certification
  \n
\n
• Construction safety experience preferred
\n
• Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills
\n
• Ability to work effectively in an active construction environment
\n
• Language Bilingual, English/Spanish
\n
