Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Flexi/PRN Pharmacy Technician for our Outpatient Pharmacy in Charlottesville, VA. \n
\n
Location: Charlottesville, VA - Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital\n
\n
Status: Flexi / PRN (1- 8 hours shift per month with opportunities to pick up additional hours)\n
\n
Hours: 9am-5pm M-F\n
\n
\nThe Pharmacy Technician performs care delivery and dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner.\n
\n

\n
• Fills and delivers medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist/licensed independent practitioner
  
\n
• Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care
  
\n
• Triages and escalates any questions or issues outside the pharmacy technician's scope of practice as needed
  
\n
• Uses appropriate systems for processing patient information
  
\n
• Ensures quality assurance is maintained according to departmental and legal requirements
  
\n
• Operates pharmacy equipment appropriately
  
\n
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

• A pharmacy technician license is required in the state of practice
