Job Description

In this position, your schedule will be from 12:00am to 8:30am (nights), Monday through Friday.

This is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits.

\n

As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:

\n
    \n
  • Performing essential patient care processes involving moderate and high complexity testing
  • \n
  • Analyzing, reviewing, and reporting testing results
  • \n
  • Recognizing and implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • \n
  • Working in a fast-paced laboratory setting with biological and chemical hazards
  • \n
  • Promoting safety, compliance, and quality control
  • \n
\n

Requirements for this role:

\n
    \n
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; OR Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training
  • \n
  • 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
  • \n
  • Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
  • \n
  • NYS Laboratory Licensed.
  • \n
  • Proficient reading, writing, and analytical skills
  • \n
  • Ability to operate various laboratory equipment
  • \n
\n

Bonus qualifications include:

    \n
  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing within a specialized area
  • \n
\n

Compensation for this role ranges from $38.00 to $55.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and potential geographic differentials.
