The Bessemer, AL VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is actively seeking Primary Care Physicians to join our mission-driven healthcare team!

\nPosition Overview:

- Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday \n
- Patient Load: 1213 patients per day per physician, allowing time for quality, patient-centered care \n
- Team Model: Work as part of a Patient-Aligned Care Team (PACT) \n
- Each physician is supported by a dedicated RN, LPN and MSA and has expanded support from clinical pharmacy, social work, mental health, and nutrition. \n
- Employment Type: Federal with full VA benefits \n

- Paid Time Off: 50 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 days paid absence for CME) \n
- Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) AND federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA \n

Qualifications:
