- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) \n
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, in-person coverage with additional responsibilities for weekend rounding and call. \n
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan \n
- Specialty: Psychiatry \n
- Hospital Information: The hospital includes a 28-bed inpatient psychiatric unit and a Partial Hospitalization Program with a capacity of 24 chairs. \n
- Position Details: This role offers a blend of inpatient psychiatry and consult-liaison services, with the opportunity to provide coverage for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). \n
- Team Size: 5 attendings 2 APPs \n
- Teaching Opportunities: Opportunities to teach and mentor medical students and residents in a collaborative academic environment. \n
- Call Requirements: Inpatient call rotation approximately every six days. \n

Requirements
\n- \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry with agreement to obtain within 12 months. \n
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain) \n
- DEA license \n
- BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained) \n
Duties & Responsibilities
\nA typical day may include:

- Providing direct patient care \n
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams \n
- Participating in teaching and mentoring \n
- Documenting in Epic EMR \n
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives \n
- Supporting community health efforts \n
- Additional opportunities include participating in group education initiatives and pursuing continuing education to support ongoing professional growth and development. \n
