\nServe patients in moments that matter and be part of the future of healthcare. SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Emergency Department at Saint Anthonys Health Center in Alton.
\nThis opportunity offers the ability to practice high-quality emergency medicine in a well-supported, remodeled Emergency Department, with strong specialty capabilities, advanced monitoring technology, and a collaborative, physician-led clinical environment.

- Hourly Rate: $100 per hour \n
- Full-time, Part-time or PRN status \n

Clinical & Program Details

- Patient Volume: 25,000 ED visits annually \n
- ED Size: 16-bed, remodeled Emergency Department \n
- Acuity: Moderate \n
- Coverage Model:\n

- 24-hour physician coverage (7 AM7 PM / 7 PM7 AM) \n
- 12 hours of NP/PA coverage daily, 10 AM 10 PM M-F, 11 AM 9 PM weekends \n
\n - Specialties: Emergency Medicine \n
- Pediatrics: State of Illinoisapproved pediatric Emergency Department \n
- Stroke Care: Certified Stroke Center (The Joint Commission) \n
- Monitoring: New telemetry monitoring throughout the ED \n
- EMR: EPIC \n
- Procedures: Full-scope emergency procedures within NP/PA scope of practice \n
- ICU: Available \n
- Admissions/Transfers: Supported by inpatient services and regional resources \n
Advanced Practice Providers work collaboratively with Emergency Medicine physicians to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care in a community hospital setting.
\nQualifications & Requirements
\n- \n
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program \n
- Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program \n
Certification & Licensure
\n- \n
- Current Illinois NP or PA license (or ability to obtain) \n
- NCCPA certification (PA-C) for Physician Assistants \n
- ANCC or AANP certification for Nurse Practitioners \n
- Illinois Controlled Substance License (if applicable) \n
- Federal DEA registration (or ability to obtain) \n
Required Clinical Experience
\n- \n
- Prior Emergency Department experience preferred \n
- Strong clinical decision-making skills appropriate for a community ED setting \n
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and emergent conditions \n
Required Certifications

- BLS \n
- ACLS \n
- PALS \n
