Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, per diem, certified neonatal nurse practitioner in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open late 2024.
\n\nAbout the Practice
\n- \n
- This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year \n
- An average daily census of about 5 newborns \n
- NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home \n
- Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care \n
The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia, which is only 7 miles away
\nOpportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the level III NICU in Gastonia may be possible; but would not be required, as this position is for the Level 1 nursery.
\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n* Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
\n* National Nursing Certification Required
\n* NC license required
\n* Certified NNP with recent experience required
