We are seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Hospitalist Nocturnist to join the Northern Nevada Health System s expanding hospitalist team in beautiful Reno, Nevada. Position Overview

• Employment Type: Full-time
\n
• Schedule: 6 am to 6 pm; 7 days on/7 days off rotation
\n
• Call: None
\n
• Patient Volume: Typically about 8 admissions per shift (varies)
\n
• Practice Setting: Northern Nevada Medical Center, with optional shifts at the Sierra Medical Center
\n
• Support/Care Team: APP admission support
\n
• Technology: Cerner EMR
\n
• Please note: This position is not J1 or H1-B Visa Eligible
\n

Responsibilities

\n
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff
\n
• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide generalist consultation to adult patients with common and complex illnesses
\n
• Timely completion of documentation, query responses, and billing
\n
• Document care using Cerner
\n

  Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Board Certification required upon start)
