Schedule: Full time, 36 hours per week (12 hour shifts) Employment Type: Permanent
\nThe Registered Nurse provides competent, patient centered clinical care aligned with professional nursing standards. Reporting to nursing leadership, this role is responsible for coordinating and delivering care using the nursing process within an acute care hospital environment.

Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

Identify learning needs and participate in ongoing professional development
\n - \n
Utilize patient education materials and assess readiness to learn
\n - \n
Establish patient specific outcomes and revise care plans as needed
\n - \n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
\n - \n
Provide safe, evidence based care for patients with varying levels of complexity
\n - \n
Perform point of care testing in accordance with standards and policies
\n - \n
Prioritize and organize care; seek guidance for complex clinical situations
\n - \n
Set and pursue professional growth goals aligned with unit objectives
\n - \n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
\n - \n
Promote a safe, clean, and cost effective care environment
\n - \n
Anticipate discharge needs and support patient and family advocacy
\n - \n
Incorporate cultural awareness and multidisciplinary resources into care planning
\n - \n
Maintain awareness of current practice trends and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Nursing Diploma OR
\n - \n
ADN or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
\n
- \n
- \n
BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing
\n
- \n
- \n
Registered Nurse state license required (or willing to obtain)
\n - \n
BLS (AHA or ARC)
\n
\n
