RN Emergency

Permanent, Full Time, ED RN, needed in the Nome AK area!

Main Functions:

\n
• Utilize nursing process to care for health care customers of all ages
\n
• Carry out patient assessments, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of interventions, evaluate the patients response to the interventions including emotional, social and safety needs
\n
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
\n
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications as prescribed by physician
\n
• Triage, prioritize, and assist in the stabilization, resuscitation, crisis intervention and /or emergency preparedness of the customer
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned
\n

Minimum Requirements:

\n
• Education Associate’s Degree Nursing
\n
• Experience 2 years RN experience (ED or Critical Care experience required)
\n
• Credentials Alaska RN License, Basic Life Support
\n
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within one year of hire
\n
