  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • California medical license is mandatory
  • Completion of residency and fellowship is essential
  • BLS and DEA certifications are required
  • Working hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Coverage needed from November 30 to December 4, and December 21 to December 25
  • Work environment: General Acute Care Hospital (Stroke Certified, not accredited as a Chest Pain Center, and no Trauma Level designation)
  • Required Procedures: lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis procedures with drains, and CT/US biopsies preferred. Interventional Radiology procedures include thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tube placements, intra-abdominal abscess drainage, chest tube insertions, and suprapubic catheter placements; biopsies for thyroid, lung, and other tissues.
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
  • Daily admissions: 12-15 patients
  • Patient Volume: Emergency Department sees approximately 85-90 patients daily, with an average inpatient/observation census of around 50 patients (including ICU and OB).
