Physician - Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology - Loyola University Chicago

Our organization is looking for a fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to enhance our Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology Program within the Division of Hematology and Oncology.

The preferred candidate will possess specialized training and a robust clinical focus on treating adult gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers. A proven dedication to clinical and/or translational research in these areas is essential.

• Deliver both inpatient and outpatient oncology services at our medical center.
• Engage in weekly multidisciplinary GI oncology clinics, collaborating with colleagues from surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and radiology.
• Initiate and lead clinical and/or translational research projects centered on gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, research efforts, and program development.
• Educate and mentor hematology/oncology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.

• Possession of an MD or DO degree.
• Completion of fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.
• Clinical proficiency in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies.
• Proven interest in clinical and/or translational research.

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Starting salary ranging from $280,000 to $475,000
