Registered Dental Hygienist

To qualify for the position of Registered Dental Hygienist, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
• Have certification in Laser dentistry
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to oral health and patient care.

Key responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) include:

• Educating patients on dental hygiene practices, including tooth care and nutrition
• Performing scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar
• Taking dental impressions and/or radiographs
• Applying preventive treatments such as antibacterial agents, sealants, and topical fluoride to reduce the risk of cavities
• Conducting screenings and ongoing assessments of dental health
