\nThe Psychiatrist is a senior clinical leader responsible for delivering high-quality,
\nevidence-based mental health care. By conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and managing complex treatment plans, the Psychiatrist ensures that patients receive holistic and personalized support. This role leverages advanced clinical tools, including AI-assisted charting and telemedicine platforms, to enhance diagnostic accuracy and streamline care delivery. As a dedicated advocate for mental health, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and champion the mission of total-person care.
\nRoles & Responsibilities
\nClinical Duties
\n%CF; Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments using
\nstandardized diagnostic tools.
\n%CF; Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient
\nneeds for acute and chronic conditions (e.g., Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar
\nDisorder, PTSD).
\n%CF; Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, meticulously monitoring effectiveness,
\nside effects, and patient adherence.
\n%CF; Provide psychoeducation to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment
\noptions, and long-term mental wellness.
\n%CF; Monitor patient progress and adjust clinical interventions to ensure optimal recovery
\nand stability.
\nPatient Experience & Workflow Optimization
\n%CF; Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by actively listening to concerns and
\nadvocating for mental health needs.
\n%CF; Utilize Nao Medical’s virtual platforms to conduct remote consultations while strictly
\nprioritizing patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
\n%CF; Collaborate with primary care providers and aftercare teams to ensure seamless
\nintegration of mental and physical health services
\n%CF; Manage a digital patient load efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear
\ncommunication through all stages of care.
\nTechnology & Documentation
\n%CF; Accurately document all psychiatric encounters and medication management notes
\nwithin the EMR system.
\n%CF; Leverage AI copilots and digital tools to assist with clinical decision-making,
\ndocumentation, and administrative efficiency.
\n%CF; Maintain timely and complete medical records in accordance with organizational
\nstandards and telemedicine guidelines.
\nTeam Collaboration & Leadership
\n%CF; Work closely with clinical leads and administrative staff to foster a collaborative and
\nprofessional environment.
\n%CF; Provide clinical consultation and mentorship to the broader medical team, including NPs
\nand PAs, to support high-quality team performance.
\n%CF; Contribute ideas for process improvements and participate in discussions to enhance
\nclinic efficiency in the Mineola hub.
\nOther Duties
\n%CF; Actively participate in monthly provider syncs, one-on-one sessions, and company-wide
\nmeetings to ensure clinical alignment and seamless communication.
\n%CF; Complete company-assigned training to stay current with new services, operational
\nprocedures, and industry standards.
\n%CF; Maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet clinic needs, including evenings, weekends, and
\nholidays.
\n%CF; Demonstrate professionalism and emotional resilience during high-stress or sensitive
\nclinical situations.
\nRequired Training, Certifications, or Credentials
\n%CF; NYS Medical License (MD or DO) and Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry.
\n%CF; Active New York State Medical License.
\n%CF; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN).
\n%CF; Valid Federal DEA Registration and Medication Administration Training (MAT)
\nCertificate.
\n%CF; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control Certifications.
\n%CF; Suboxone Certification (preferred/a plus)
\nCompensation
\n%CF; Base Salary: $200-250K(based on experience and schedule).
\n%CF; Performance Bonus: Up to $45,000 annual incentive potential.
