A state-of-the-art, non-profit, short term acute care facility located 1 hour east of Columbus is looking for a permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologist (multiple shifts available).

DESCRIPTION

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals
\n
• Evaluates exams for diagnostic quality
\n

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n
• Operates nuclear medicine and related medical equipment to complete a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
\n
• Produces acceptable images by determining proper technical factors based on individual patients and/or procedures.
\n
• Orders, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals according to accepted practices.
\n
• Effectively uses computer systems (such as HIS, RIS, PACS) to process, access and distribute appropriate department and patient procedure information.
\n
• Performs other functions as assigned.
