CoWorx is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Production Machine Operator to join our team on 1st shift in the Biddeford, ME area!
This role is ideal for someone with with Machine Operation experience.
Shift : 7AM to 3:30PM
Competitive starting pay of $24.00+ per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture bonded and re-bonded rotary targets.
  • Operate and set up machine shop equipment and tools.
  • Perform equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot issues throughout the bonding process.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
  • Use measuring instruments and precision tools accurately.
  • Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
  • Learn and utilize new technologies and processes.
  • Handle hazardous materials and waste safely according to company procedures.
  • Complete all required hazardous waste and safety training.
  • Wear a full-face respirator when required (clean to semi-clean shaven required).

Desired Background/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of relevant machine shop experience.
  • Experience using power tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to convert standard and metric measurements.
  • Experience reading blueprints and understanding GD&T concepts.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Candidates with 2–3+ years of verifiable machine shop experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to learn specialized bonding and manufacturing processes.
