TRAVEL ANALYST II

Job Summary

We are seeking a Travel Analyst II for a contract opportunity in San Diego, CA, supporting corporate travel, expense management, treasury operations, and travel card administration within the aerospace and defense industry.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance or accounting professional who enjoys helping employees resolve travel and expense issues, managing corporate card processes, and working with internal teams and banking partners. The position offers exposure to a highly structured corporate environment, supportive cross-functional teams, and leadership that values accuracy, responsiveness, professionalism, and process improvement.

The Travel Analyst II will serve as a key administrator for the corporate Travel and Expense Card Program, supporting cardholders, affiliate administrators, treasury, travel accounting, ITS, and expense management teams. This is a strong opportunity for someone with Concur Expense, corporate credit card, treasury, banking platform, or expense reimbursement experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer the corporate Travel and Expense Card Program, including opening, closing, maintaining, and monitoring employee travel card accounts.
- Review and approve new corporate card applications, credit limit exception requests, expense category permissions, and related cardholder updates.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, affiliate administrators, internal teams, financial institutions, and banking partners.
- Troubleshoot travel card and expense management issues, including replacement cards, employee questions, Concur Expense support, and moderately complex escalations.
- Perform audits, maintain accurate documentation, protect confidential records, and ensure compliance with company travel, expense, treasury, and business policies.
- Partner with travel accounting, treasury, technology, and expense management teams to support program administration, training, and process consistency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Duration: 6 to 8 month contract, with an initial 6 month assignment.
- Location: Torrey Pines/Poway area of San Diego, CA.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home per week.
- Interview process: Talent acquisition phone screen followed by a 1-hour onsite interview with the hiring team.
