\nJob Summary and Qualifications\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of his/her patient
\nassignment. Responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel. The holding room nurse and
\nchest pain unit nurse are responsible for but not limited to: the care of cardiac/peripheral
\nprocedural patients, post sheath removal, recognition of groin complications, EKG interpretation,
\nabnormal lab value recognition and reporting of these values to the physician, input of ACC data.
\nThis position requires knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures
\nrelevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative
\nassociations, along with management and supervisory skills are inherent in the position. The ability
\nto retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory, or visual fashion is
\nessential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word. Written,
\ntelephone, and manual dexterity skills are required for the position.
What qualifications you will need:\n\n- \n
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date \n
- (RN) Registered Nurse \n
- Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree \n
