Truck Driver/Laborer
Job Description
The Warren County Highway Department is seeking a dependable full-time Truck Driver/Laborer to join our team. Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL and be willing to perform a variety of roadway maintenance and construction duties. A pre-employment drug test and participation in the departments drug testing program are required.
Starting wage is $22.40 per hour.
Key responsibilities include hauling materials, servicing equipment, operating heavy machinery such as rollers, backhoes, and loaders, patching roadways, cutting brush, replacing culverts, and assisting with other road construction and maintenance projects. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and safely perform physical labor. Mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance experience are highly desirable.
