A Central Point, Oregon based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care in a community health center and an acute care hospital. There are two separate positions available, one in outpatient and one in acute care. Ideal candidates are collaborative, practice evidence-based care, excel as an individual and as a team member, and provide equitable care to all populations.

Required Qualifications

  • OR license as a Nurse Practitioner
  • \n
  • Completion of an MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner program
  • \n
  • DEA certification
  • \n
  • CPR certification
  • \n
\n

Preferred Qualifications

    \n
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • \n
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • \n
\n

Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients, in either hospital or community health center environment
  • \n
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
  • \n
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
  • \n
  • Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
  • \n
  • Coordinates the preparation of reports and written documentation including medical records, as required by the department clinic, state and federal agencies
  • \n
  • Supervises Nurses and assistants in examining room and may serve as preceptor for team members
  • \n
