Cancer Care NP/PA needed in the Myrtle Beach, SC area

A large Cancer Care department in the Myrtle Beach area has a great opportunity for an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
\n
• Must have at least 2+ year of experience in role as NP/PA
\n
• Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient work
\n
• Mon-Fri 8a-5p - no call responsibilities
\n
• Each NP/PA has a dedicated nurse and will work closely with the Oncology nursing team
\n
• 40% Oncology and 60% Hematology
\n
• Chemotherapy management, follow up visits, symptom management, and routine check-ups for ongoing cancer treatments
\n
• Procedures include assisting with bone marrow biopsies, administration of chemotherapy, and management of port care
\n
• Average patient volume is 15-20 patients per day
\n
• Adult patients with various types of cancers and hematologic disorders
\n
• You will work with 3 Physicians and 2 other APP's
\n
• EMR used is Cerner
\n
