Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery/Podiatry APRN Opportunity: Monday-Friday, No Call
Job Description
Full-time APRN/PA needed to join our established Orthopedic Surgery and Podiatry practice in a hospital-based setting at the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital with a work schedule Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00pm. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of physicians in a high-quality, patient-centered environment.
\n* Previous experience in Orthopedic, surgical, or podiatry experience preferred. Important skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as keen attention to detail.
\nJob Duties Include:
\nAssist physicians in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic and podiatric conditions
\nProvide inpatient care, including rounding, consults, and post-operative management as well as consulting the ortho and podiatric patient coming through the hospital Emergency Department.
\nPerform procedures within scope of practice
\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
\nEducate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery

\nEducation: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program or Master of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies from accredited program.

Qualifications:

- CPR/BLS certification is required \n
- Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required \n
- Strong clinical skills with commitment to patient-centered care, communication and teamwork skills. \n
- Board Certified through AANP or NCCPA \n
- Credentialing with appropriate facilities must be received prior to performing patient care. \n
