Womens Health, Contingent Night-Shift Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Join Henry Ford Health as a contingent night-shift CNM, providing full-scope midwifery care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman services. This role is 90% inpatient, 10% outpatient, managing low- to moderate-risk pregnancies with strong clinical judgment and collaborative support.

Responsibilities:

• Triage, labor management, fetal surveillance, postpartum assessment, newborn transition
\n
• Recognize and escalate high-risk conditions
\n
• Patient education, counseling, and shared decision-making
\n
• Collaborate with OB/GYN, MFM, anesthesia, nursing, NICU, and allied health teams
\n

Requirements:

\n
• CNM with 2+ years experience
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based practice and management of hypertensive disorders, hemorrhage, sepsis, and breastfeeding support
\n
• Comfortable in high-acuity, fast-paced inpatient/outpatient environments
\n

Schedule: Nights, 7p7:30a | Weekends twice/month | 4 call shifts/month | No OR time

Provide expert midwifery care in a supportive, interdisciplinary hospital team while caring for a diverse patient population.
