Hospitalist Opportunity with MercyOne - $280K Guarantee + $50K Commence
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated hospitalists to join our team, providing exceptional care at our facilities in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. This role involves working a total of 168 shifts annually, with various shift options including:
- 7 AM - 7 PM
- 7 PM - 7 AM
- 9 AM - 9 PM
The schedule primarily follows a 7 on / 7 off pattern, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our hospitalist services operate in an open ICU setting, supported by intensivist coverage. While an interest in performing procedures is appreciated, it is not a requirement for this position.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Annual Salary: $280,056
- Commencement Bonus: $50,000
- Relocation Allowance: $15,000
- Malpractice Insurance: Employer-covered, including tail coverage

- Retirement Plans: Two options - 403(b) with employer matching and a 457(b) Savings Plan
