Outpatient Neurology - Physician - Albany/Clifton Park, NY

Our organization is on the lookout for additional Outpatient Neurologists to enhance our expanding team at St. Peters Neurology, situated in the lively Capital Region of New York.

We are open to welcoming new graduates and provide a nurturing environment supported by seasoned physicians eager to offer mentorship. Our practice has recently transitioned to a modern, state-of-the-art office designed to improve both patient experiences and provider satisfaction.

• Outpatient role from Monday to Friday, featuring a shared call rotation among providers.
• Join an established practice with three full-time physicians and a team of two advanced practitioners, focusing on general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at a local hospital.
• Enjoy shared rotational call and robust practice support.
• Proficiency in EMG/NCS and EEG is required.
• Opportunities for sleep study readings are available.
• Sub-specialty options, including a dedicated MS Headache Center and strong Hospitalist support, are accessible.
• Specialization opportunities in neuromuscular and epilepsy are available on dedicated days for those with relevant expertise.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certification in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in various sub-specialties is welcomed but not mandatory (the primary focus is general care).
• Strong clinical and communication skills, along with a commitment to delivering excellent, team-oriented care.
• A desire to provide general neurological care is essential.

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Base compensation ranging from $330,000 to $340,000, with potential for increased earnings through productivity.
• The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensations. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with state regulations and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
• Signing bonus of $25,000.
• Retention bonus of $15,000 upon reaching the two-year mark.
• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance.
• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.
• Five days of CME time with a $4,500 expense allowance.
