Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello! We are a private, single-doctor practice looking for a hygienist to work Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning as soon as August, since our current RDH is moving away. We value building long-term relationships with patients and we schedule accordingly. Several people on our current clinical team have worked with Dr. Fisher for over 20 years. Our current pay model for hygienists is a day rate supplemented by a monthly individual production-based commission, but we are willing to negotiate pay and benefits.

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) duties include:

• Providing dental health education about tooth care and diet
\n
• Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
\n
• Taking dental radiographs and/or intraoral images of teeth
\n
• Applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
\n
• Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures
\n
