Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Start Date: Typical start date is within approximately 2 weeks after offer acceptance and completion of onboarding/credentialing requirements.

Job Summary\n

Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse with strong critical care skills and Day 0 CVICU experience. Candidate must be comfortable floating to CCU as needed. This assignment is at a smaller independent Colorado hospital with two Cath Labs, including one Hybrid Cath Lab.

Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-level CVICU and CCU patient care
\n
• Manage critically ill cardiac patients
\n
• Participate in weekend and on-call rotation
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
\n
• Utilize Meditech EMR documentation system
\n

Shift & Call Requirements\n

\n
• 12-hour night shifts
\n
• Weekend rotation required
\n
• Must participate in call rotation
\n
• One call shift every 2-week pay period may replace guaranteed hours if staffing requires
\n

Experience Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience required
\n
• Strong CVICU experience required
\n
• Day 0 CVICU experience required
\n

License & Certification Requirements\n

\n
• Active Colorado RN License required
\n
• BLS certification (AHA)
\n
• ACLS certification (AHA)
\n
• PALS certification required for submission
\n
• Current seasonal Flu Vaccination required (no exemptions accepted during flu season)
\n

• CAPS requirement applies and may take up to 2 weeks to obtain
