Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full-time Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join our Hauenstein Neurosciences Team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Our team of experts is the most experienced in the area, and they will work to design a personalized treatment plan with each patient.

  • We are West Michigans only Neuro-Ophthalmology program. Providing comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological and medical evaluation of diseases that affect the visual pathways and control of eye movements.
  • \n
  • Services include:
  • \n
      \n
    • Diagnosis and treatment of visual problems related to the nervous system.
    • \n
    • Diagnosis and treatment of unexplained or sudden vision loss
    • \n
    • Neuro-Ophthalmologic testing such as visual acuity, visual field testing, pupillary reactivity, color perception, ocular alignment, and optical coherence tomography, among others.
    • \n
    • Comprehensive patient and family education.
    • \n
    \n
  • Strong interdisciplinary model of care: RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab.
  • \n
  • We are a national Multiple Sclerosis Society: Partner in MS Care.
  • \n
  • General Neurology visits may be required as your practice builds.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
  • \n
  • State of Michigan license required at time of employment.
  • \n
  • DEA license
  • \n
  • BLS Certification and maintain recertification.
  • \n
