Opportunity Highlights:

  • 50/50 Flex Role: Balanced inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology practice.
    \n • Full-Time Schedule: 40-hour workweek consisting of 36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week.
    \n • Rotating Shared Call Coverage for weekdays and weekends – light, telephone-based only.
    \n • Adjunct Academic Appointment for hospital admitting privileges.
    \n • Direct Connection with the Gastroenterology Academic Department for mentorship, guidance, and additional support.
    \n • Collaborative and Supportive Practice Environment within a renowned academic healthcare system that values teamwork and patient-centered care.
    \n • EPIC EMR
    \n • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
    \n • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with

Training/Education:

\n
    \n
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
    \n • Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
    \n • Successful completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
    \n • Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from said residency.
    \n • Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
    \n • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
    \n • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
