HTI is hiring Direct Hire Welders for Orbis Corporation in Piedmont, SC. • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Pay

\n
• Starting at $20.00/hour
\n
• Higher pay available based on weld test performance and experience
\n

Responsibilities

\n
• Perform MIG welding on steel and galvanized aluminum components
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
\n
• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools
\n
• Assemble and weld custom automotive racks to specifications
\n
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
\n
• Follow all safety and quality standards
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Previous MIG welding experience required
\n
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
\n
• Strong measuring skills and ability to accurately use a tape measure
\n
• Experience with beading is a plus
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
\n
• Must successfully complete a weld test
\n
