PIPEFITTER FOREMAN - IOWA
\nAs a working Pipefitter Foreman this role is responsible for leading a crew to successfully install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Oversees installation of pipe for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Experience with Sanitary Piping systems is preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversees pipefitting on the construction project from beginning to end. Ensures a project meets specifications and quality standards, within budget and on schedule. \n
- Continuously monitors project productivity, identifying problems and potential delays, and provides solutions to overcome such issues. \n
- Inspects work for compliance with company quality standards. Requires poor work to be corrected immediately to minimize issues. \n
- Schedules daily manpower activities; organizing workers and ensuring they are performing work as required. \n
- Ensures contractors fully execute and comply with contracted scope of work. \n
- Ensures work schedules are maintained and the time records are completed properly and submitted in a timely manner. \n
- Follows the budget in terms of purchases and records the costs for materials and work done. Looks for ways to reduce costs. \n
- Performs general inspection of the workers, including individual performance and safety. \n
- Participates in hands-on work to complete the job. \n
- Plans for and uses resources efficiently, always looks for ways to reduce costs, creates accurate and realistic budgets, tracks and adjusts budgets, contributes to budget plan. \n
- Inspects work for compliance with company standards. Requires poor work to be corrected immediately to minimize quality issues being placed on the punch list. \n
