An award-winning teaching hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Lead Cytogenetics Technologist or Cytogenetics Technologist to join its growing laboratory team. This highly respected facility provides a comprehensive range of services, including cancer care, maternity services, neurosciences, orthopedics, trauma care, and more.
Position Overview\nThis is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a primary day shift schedule (flexibility available). The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting cytogenetics operations, with leadership responsibilities for those stepping into the Lead role.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) required \n
- ASCP Cytogenetics (CG) certification required \n
- Experience in: \n
- \n
- FISH analysis \n
- Chromosome analysis (blood and bone marrow) \n
- Cytogenetics wet bench setup \n
\n - Leadership experience strongly preferred (for Lead candidates) \n
