Virginia Facility Is Searching for a Locum Tenens Vascular Surgeon

Key Responsibilities- Provide call-only coverage with a beeper system, ensuring a 30-minute response time.
- Maintain a call ratio of 2.
- Manage care for approximately 10 adult vascular surgery patients per shift.
- Conduct admissions as required.
- Perform aneurysm repairs (both thoracic and abdominal).
- Execute arterial bypass (peripheral) and vascular access procedures.
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers.
- Provide resident or teaching supervision as necessary.
- Experience in vascular surgery, particularly in aneurysm repairs and arterial bypass procedures.
- Ability to supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Providers and residents.
This position involves a combination of patient care and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on adult vascular surgery.
