Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000

Position Overview

Our facility is on the lookout for a Gynecologist who aligns with our mission and values. Join our team of skilled gynecologists who provide comprehensive gynecological care, including preventive and wellness examinations aimed at detecting early signs of cancers and other chronic conditions. For patients presenting reproductive health concerns, we conduct thorough evaluations to identify the underlying issues, focusing on achieving excellent outcomes through standard therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, urgent visits, and annual check-ups.
  • Offer counseling and education regarding disease management and prevention for patients and their families.
  • Deliver comprehensive care, including detailed history and physical examinations, reviewing medical records, and ordering necessary laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic tests to establish diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with consultants.
  • Serve as a resource for training and orienting new staff members.
  • Manage in-basket tasks to ensure safe, effective, and timely patient care while maintaining clear communication with colleagues.
  • Complete all outstanding medical records as required by departmental needs.
  • Provide on-call services as necessary for the ambulatory practice.
  • Participate in ER and inpatient call services if required by hospital privileges.
  • Maintain all necessary credentials, including state licensure and board certifications.
  • Commit to ongoing quality improvement and adhere to institutional and departmental policies and health regulations.
  • May involve supervising and training advanced practice providers (APPs).

  • Participate in various meetings, conferences, and seminars as directed.
  • Implement Quality Improvement practices in daily operations.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Education/Certification: Doctoral Degree (MD or DO).
  • Current Massachusetts State License, Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration, and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
  • Board eligible or board certified in the relevant specialty or specialties.
