Role Overview\n

A major healthcare provider in the North Carolina Triangle region is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. This position offers exposure to a wide range of patient populations, modern imaging technology, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Primary Functions\n
    \n
  • \n

    Perform high quality diagnostic radiographic exams following established protocols

    • \n
  • \n

    Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safety and comfort

    • \n
  • \n

    Operate digital radiography systems and related imaging equipment

    • \n
  • \n

    Verify orders, patient identification, and clinical indications

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain accurate documentation within PACS and the electronic medical record

    • \n
  • \n

    Support radiologists during specialized or complex procedures

    • \n
  • \n

    Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles

    • \n
  • \n

    Collaborate with nursing, ED, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain efficient patient flow

    • \n
  • \n

    Participate in department quality initiatives and continuing education

    • \n

Required Qualifications\n
    \n
  • \n

    Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

    • \n
  • \n

    ARRT (R) certification required (or eligible)

    • \n
  • \n

    North Carolina state license required (or willing to obtain)

    • \n
  • \n

    BLS certification

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced clinical environment

    • \n
